Description
Volanta is an easy to use smart flight tracker that integrates all your flight data across all major sims including MSFS, Prepar3D, X-Plane and many more into one neat
application.
Our brand new companion app allows you to:
- View details of your own flight such as callsign, aircraft, departure and arrival airports and weather
- See statistics such as remaining time and distance and a chart of your altitude
- Marvel at your screenshots and add notes
- Explore the current flights on Volanta, VATSIM, IVAO, FSCloud and PilotEdge
- See planned routes and 3D flight paths
This app does not track a flight on its own, you need the desktop version of Volanta running.

New additions:
- Globe map! You can now view the globe map in the map page, with the option to switch between that and the regular map.
- VATSIM ATC coverage! See which controllers are online and tap them to view their details.
- New profile page to see your past flights
- Friends! See who's online, send and accept requests and search other users.
Changes and fixes:
- Fixed the planned route not being visible on the map.
- Pressing the purple view flight button now also focuses your flight on the map.
- Your own flight icon on the map will always be visible, meaning you can turn off every network flights filter (including Volanta) and still see your own flight.
- ATC route is now expandable when viewing a flight.
- Removed the white screen between the splashscreen and the app being fully ready causing a flashbang effect.
- Fixed alternate airports not showing the name or ICAO when selected.
Ratings and Reviews
Meh
Even with a premium subscription it’s pretty much useless. I can’t pause my sim I can’t see my friend list. I can’t even find my own flight without extensively looking for it, there no center button. I think it has potential but right now your better off just signing into Volanta in a web browser.
Just use volanta on your phone browser l
It’s way too hard to use, super buggy. I click on my flight and nothing happens and it’s very laggy and clunky. Plus you need premium for it which is dumb. If you want to view your flight, please just search up volanta on google and click open in browser. You don’t need premium to do it and it’s pretty good on browser. The app is unusable due to lag and bugs
The app is only for premium users?
Actually quite sad in making a app which is exclusive to premium users. Major turn off for me. Like why even bother making an app in the first place if your restricting it to only users who are premium only?
